Occupy W.C. at the Venice Architecture Biennale (2014)
The Occupy W.C. experience at the 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale begins in the toilets and continues online. Eighteen young architects describe their work in relation to Fundamentals, the theme chosen by Rem Koolhaas, offering a view of Italian architecture beyond the starchitects.
The interviews reveal a vibrant, concrete and plural scene capable of challenging established hierarchies and models.
The project is completed by the critical reflections of Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi, Luciano Pes and Simona Campus, which broaden the debate on architecture, culture and contemporary society.
